Dinghy sailing at the EFYC is a fun, exciting and the perfect weekend social activity. Members of the club get to mix with like-minded sailors. Dinghy sailing is suitable to all levels of skill and ability.
Spend a glorious day on the water sailing, and then unwind in the comfort of the friendly clubhouse over a drink or two.
Beginners can start with dinghy sailing. It is an ideal way for young families to enjoy the water responsibly. If you want to improve your sailing skills, then we have a comprehensive training and racing programme that you can register for. Juniors and adults are both welcome.

Have you often thought about spending on occasional Sunday navigating a sailboat on the Swan River? You can now join EFYC and learn how to sail these larger boats with experienced sailors.
EFYC’s extensive fleet of keelboats ensure that we can accommodate large numbers so nobody is left out for this popular sailing sport. You can race, or just enjoy some social cruising in fantastic surroundings.
We also take part in a number of coastal and offshore events each year. EFYC members regularly represent the club at these events. To participate, join us at the club or simply make an enquiry.

At East Fremantle Yacht Club we’ve got the perfect pens in a prime location, on the Swan River. Power boating is not just another boating sport at EFYC. It is also about socialising. This family club will surpass your power boating sporting needs but while providing you access to some excellent club facilities.
The Club runs Recreational Skippers ticket training and generally promotes improved skills in handling and all aspects of Power Yachting.
With this goal in mind, members can participate in a range of events hosted by EFYC all year around. All events are a great opportunity to meet other Power Yacht owners and have a day outdoors with your family and friends.

Dragon Boating as a sport is gaining quick popularity in Perth. The sport is competitive and its regular training routine lends itself to some great fitness. While the sport has been around for years, frequent local events along the Swan River are largely responsible for the renewed popularity. EFYC has partnered with the Cockburn Dragon Boat Club. Their club members now share the EFYC Clubhouse and facilities. As a member of EFYC, you can enjoy the member benefits of both clubs. The dragon boat calendar is packed with events, regular training sessions and includes an annual regatta. For further information, please contact the Dragon Boat Club President Rick Salisbury on:
